Kulvir Singh Gill - Co-Founder

Kulvir Singh Gill has 20 years of experience working at the intersection of strategy, leadership, innovation, and sustainability. Kulvir has worked with the innovation and growth strategy firm Clareo, leading international innovation and growth projects with Fortune 500 clients across multiple industries including mining, oil and gas, heavy industrial, banking, retail and media. He has also worked with StrategyLab to design and facilitate growth leadership programs for leading global corporations. 

Kulvir was the Founding Executive Director of the Development Partner Institute (DPI) to advance sustainability in the mining industry. He has recently served as the Innovation Ecosystem Manager for the Canadian Mining Innovation Council (CMIC). Kulvir began his career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman before holding several positions with Barrick Gold involving supply chain management, post-merger integrations, strategic planning, innovation and sustainability. 

Kulvir is also passionate about community service. He is a co-founder of the Seva Food Bank in Mississauga. He also serves on the boards of the William Osler Health System, the Empire Club of Canada and the Sikh Research Institute. Mr. Gill is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and a 2010 Action Canada Fellow. Kulvir holds a B.Sc. and a B. Comm. from the University of Calgary and is a holder of the Institute of Corporate Directors Director designation (ICD.D).

Kevin Phelan has 25+ years of domestic and international Marketing, Business Strategy, Innovation and Mergers experience in the Energy, Retail and Sustainability sectors. 

Kevin is President and Chief Strategist of Agôn Partners, working with senior executives, boards, investors and other stakeholders to identify, develop and implement strategic growth and change opportunities. 

Previously, Kevin was Chief Marketing and Sales Officer for BP North America accountable for strategic, operational and financial performance of BP's $36bn Retail, Consumer, Business to Business and Brand Marketing activities. He led Brand Strategy, Marketing, Sales, New Product Innovation, Retail Operations, Strategic Partnerships, Portfolio Management and Crisis Management.

Kevin advises multiple organizations both corporate and non-profit on Business, Sustainability and Brand Strategy, Marketing, Communications, Crisis Management, Start-up investment, Joint Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Innovation.

Kevin helps organizations change and grow in multiple dimensions. He energizes and inspires individuals, leaders and teams to seize opportunities and helps them implement in a real, measurable and profitable way.
